Walking: Longer Walks

Longer Walks have restarted! As before, they take place on the first and third Monday of each month (alternating with the Mugdock Walkers Monday walks). Walks are usually 5-8 miles and often finish with lunch!

Each walk is different and group members take turns to choose and organise the walk. Walks vary in difficulty but are not very strenuous. Inclines are generally gentle.
Details are sent out to members on the group list a few days before each walk. We usually meet in Bearsden, and then take public transport or share cars to the start of the walk. To take part in a walk, or to be added to the group list, please contact the Convenor, Janis.

PLEASE NOTE: While U3A membership provides liability insurance for events, this is not personal insurance. We meet on the same basis as a group of friends walking together who all take responsibility for their own health and safety; you come along at your own risk.
