These take place the 3rd Tuesday of the month in the upper hall of St Andrew's Church, Bearsden Cross. Doors are open from 10.30 when members at the Welcome Desk will be ready to answer questions. Tea and coffee are available. There is no charge for attendance though we ask 50p for refreshments
All future meetings are listed below in the calendar.
Anyone may attend two monthly meetings or one group meeting before deciding whether they wish to join the U3A; but please check first with the group Convenor that there are places available. See Membership to join.
Demonstrations
We have introduced a series of demonstrative and informative events in addition to the regular monthly meetings. Unlike monthly meeting talks these are informal meetings for smaller groups given largely by members as well as external agencies.
These meetings have proved very popular and, in addition to local businesses or support services like carers and first aiders showcasing practical skills, are an ideal way for members to display their skills or demonstrate their Group's expertise.
Could you give a practical demonstration?
Are there any interests, skill or hobby you would like to find out more about and see demonstrated or do you have a craft, skill or hobby that you could demonstrate or share? Let us know and we will help to organise it and/or support you, if possible.
